The Secret to a Long-Lasting Vehicle Is…

Well, truth be told, it’s preventative maintenance. That might not sound like the most fantastic revelation in the world, but the fact of the matter is that most drivers, overlook at least part of the preventative maintenance that they could be doing to keep their vehicles running better for longer. At Sun Devil Auto, we understand the power of prevention, and that is why we have created a Scheduled Maintenance program. That way, it is easy for our customers to keep track of their preventative maintenance needs.

Why Preventative Maintenance Saves Money

Let’s use your brakes for an example. It’s easy to let brake issues go until a part breaks down because if they aren’t inspected, there’s very little to tell you when it’s time to change the pads. Sometimes, your fluid level might dip enough for you to notice, but even that isn’t terribly common. If you do have an inspection performed the technician will be able to tell you when it’s time to consider replacing the pads.

Because the pads are designed to wear to a certain point, replacing them on time means keeping the rotors and calipers from being damaged. If you wait until you have a failure in the system, you may wind up needing a much more extensive repair.

Sun Devil Auto’s Scheduled Maintenance

Your fluid flushes, tire rotation, and other preventative maintenance tasks should follow the same logic as your brake maintenance. Here’s how our program helps – with Scheduled Maintenance, you can get reminders about scheduling and completing the following:

  • Oil changes
  • Air conditioning service
  • Fluid replacement
  • Wheel alignment
  • Filter replacements

When you build in tire rotations and regular brake inspections, both of which can typically be done with either an alignment or an oil change, the result is a pretty complete vehicle maintenance plan. Don’t forget to check out our Major Service Special.

Value Your Investment

For most people, a vehicle is the second-largest investment after their homes. It only makes sense to make sure that you get the most out of yours, whether you are looking to preserve its value for resale in a couple of years, or you just want to get the most out of it for as long as possible. That’s why it is important to know your vehicle’s maintenance schedules and to manage them as recommended.
